01 / 05 // Catch can

Mini Catch Can

The smallest catch can in the Vibrant range, built for engine bays where a full-size can will not fit. A longer two-mesh filter barrel means it filters more aggressively than the GEN 3.

Material: 6061 aluminum, hard anodized black

A catch can for the tightest engine bays

Built in direct response to customers who found that even the 0.75 L GEN 3 would not fit modern engine bays.

Smallest in the range: A 90 mm body and 0.20 L capacity, sized for side by sides, powersports and crowded new-model engine bays.

More filtration than GEN 3: The extended filter barrel holds two filter meshes instead of one, so the air leaving the can is as clean as it would be from a larger unit.

Opens from either end by hand: Top and bottom lids both thread on, and the knurled body gives enough grip to open it without tools.

Dipstick included: Check the oil level in seconds without opening the can.

Where it fits

  • Side by side and powersports machines
  • New-model street cars with crowded engine bays
  • Lightly to moderately modified engines

Good to know

Designed for open-loop setups that vent to atmosphere. For a recirculating setup, or where capacity matters more than size, the GEN 3 range with its four-port lid is the right choice. At 0.20 L, check the level regularly on engines with high blow-by.

GEN 3 Catch Can Replacement Filter Assembly

Longer filter barrels for GEN 3 medium and large catch cans. More filter media in the same can reduces misting at the vent, with no change to the installation.

Material: 6061 aluminum barrels, stainless steel mesh

Email sales

More filtration without a new can

For GEN 3 owners seeing misting at the vent, usually on engines producing more crankcase pressure than the standard barrels were designed for.

Longer barrels, more media: More filter length in the same reservoir gives oil droplets more chance to settle out, reducing misting at the vent.

Drop-in swap: Uses the existing barrel locations. The can, lid, mount and plumbing all stay as they are.

Cleanable stainless media: The mesh is cleaned and reused, not thrown away. Service it when you drain the can.

Complete kit in one box: Two complete barrel sets, each with a barrel, baffle spacer, stainless mesh and stainless fastener.

Where it fits

  • GEN 3 owners seeing misting at the vent
  • High crankcase pressure engines, including turbo diesel
  • Race programs wanting a spare set between sessions

Good to know

Fits the 1.5 L and 2.0 L GEN 3 cans only; the barrels are too long for the 0.75 L can. Sold separately from the GEN 3 Catch Can.

03 / 05 // Cooling

Mini Expansion Tank

A pressurised coolant expansion tank for bays where the factory tank no longer fits. Part of the Mini series, sharing its body, bottom lid and bracket with the Mini Catch Can.

Material: 6061 aluminum, hard anodized black

A pressurised coolant tank for tight bays

The factory tank is often the first thing displaced by an intercooler, turbo or intake. The Mini Expansion Tank gives it a new home.

Keeps the system full: Accepts coolant expansion and returns it on cooldown, preventing air pockets and hot spots. Running pressurised raises the boiling point.

Standard SAE small cap: Replaceable at any parts counter, in the pressure rating your system needs. Nothing proprietary.

Welded cap neck: The cap neck is welded to the top lid, with no separate joint to leak. The lid unscrews for filling and cleaning.

A matched Mini series: Body, bottom lid and bracket are shared with the Mini Catch Can, so the two mount and look like a set.

Where it fits

  • Side by side and powersports machines
  • Bays where a turbo or intercooler displaced the factory tank
  • Engine swaps and custom builds with no factory tank

Good to know

Sized for smaller cooling systems; on a large-capacity system a larger tank remains the right choice. System pressure is set by the SAE cap you fit.

Crimp-On Hose End Fittings

Permanent crimped hose ends for Vibrant PTFE and standard hose. A sealed joint with nothing to loosen, weep or re-torque, built with any crimper that covers the range.

Material: 6061 aluminum, hard anodized black collars

Email sales

Permanent joints, built in your shop

The same fitting design used on Vibrant's factory pre-assembled PTFE lines, now sold loose so fabricators can crimp their own lines to exact length.

Threaded collar: The collar threads onto the fitting instead of sliding loose, so it cannot shift while it sits in the crimping dies.

Crimp reference line: A machined line sets the fitting height in the dies, and confirms the fitting was seated correctly after install.

Published crimp diameters: Every fitting and size has a published final diameter, so any crimper covering the range can be set up for it.

Two matched families: PTFE and standard, in the same sizes and angles. Same AN threads as the reusable ends, same design as the factory PTFE lines.

Where it fits

  • Shops already running a crimper, including batch work
  • Fuel, oil, coolant and forced induction lines
  • High-end street, race and restoration builds

Angles: straight, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, 120°, 150° and 180°. Ratings apply to the finished assembly on matching Vibrant hose.

Good to know

Not recommended for brakes or high-pressure power steering. PTFE and standard families are matched to their own hose and are not interchangeable. Sold loose; crimper and dies not included.

High Temp Mufflers

Ultra Quiet and StreetPower mufflers built for sustained high exhaust heat, with stainless steel packing in place of fiberglass.

Material: 304 stainless steel

Email sales

Built for sustained high exhaust heat

Conventional muffler packing can break down under sustained high exhaust temperatures. The High Temp line is built to hold its structure and its sound in those conditions.

Stainless steel packing: Replaces the fiberglass packing used in standard Vibrant mufflers, for exhaust that runs hot for long periods.

Tested at about 1,800°F (982°C): Exhaust gas measured just upstream of the muffler at wide-open throttle and full boost, with no structural or thermal failure through repeated heat cycles.

Proven on street and track: About 500 street and highway miles with no change in sound or appearance, plus race testing showing better heat resistance.

Ready to weld: Built on the Ultra Quiet and StreetPower Universal platforms, with slip-fit inlets ready to lap weld.

Where it fits

  • Turbocharged builds, track and race cars
  • High-performance street cars that run hot
  • Side by side and 4x4 off-road at sustained high RPM

Good to know

1,800°F (982°C) is a measured test temperature, not a rated limit. The StreetPower High Temp comes in 2.5" and 3" only.
